ARCC Coordinator - Hyderabad

The ARCC Coordinator – Hyderabad works in two phases during 2026.

In the first phase (pre-ARCC establishment), the role is based at the LAS Hyderabad office and focuses on supervising OSPC operations, maintaining records, and supporting the establishment of the Anti-Rape Crisis Cell (ARCC) through coordination with hospital management, the Health Department, and procurement teams.

In the second phase, once the ARCC becomes operational, the role transitions into full-time ARCC-based coordination, focusing on survivor pathway management, referral system strengthening, and inter-agency coordination.

The position works closely with the Delivery Coordinator – Karachi and reports to the Assistant Manager.

A. OSPC Supervision (Pre-ARCC Phase)

• Maintain OSPC operational records and submit monthly updates to the Assistant Manager and M&E focal person.

• Identify operational gaps or service quality issues at OSPC level and escalate to the Delivery Coordinator – Karachi for resolution.

• Support continuity of services during transition from OSPC to ARCC model.

B. ARCC Establishment Coordination

• Lead coordination with hospital management, Health Department, and relevant authorities for ARCC setup in Hyderabad.

• Coordinate procurement processes with LAS procurement team for equipment, supplies, and facility readiness.

• Route all procurement documentation through the Delivery Coordinator – Karachi.

• Support planning and execution of the official ARCC launch in Hyderabad.

• Develop and track ARCC establishment timelines and escalate delays to management.

• Activate referral mechanisms to ensure operational readiness of the ARCC.

C. ARCC Coordination & Survivor Pathway Management

• Monitor survivor pathways through the ARCC and identify delays, bottlenecks, and systemic gaps.

• Coordinate between health providers, medico-legal officers, police, prosecution, and LAS legal teams to ensure timely referrals.

• Ensure all survivor services follow trauma-informed and dignity-based principles.

• Immediately escalate safeguarding concerns or service delivery issues.

• Strengthen coordination with external stakeholders including police SSOIUs, child protection services, and social welfare departments.

• Maintain referral tracking logs for monitoring, evaluation, and reporting purposes.

D. Reporting & Internal Coordination

• Submit monthly reports covering OSPC status and ARCC operational progress.

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of data to the M&E focal person.

• Participate in internal programme meetings and ARCC coordination forums.

• Report safeguarding incidents, complaints, or critical issues without delay.

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Gender Studies, or related field (Clinical/Counselling Psychology preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in GBV case coordination, psychosocial support, survivor services, or programme coordination.
• Experience in OSPC or one-stop centre management strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed and survivor-centred approaches.
• Experience working with health, legal, or government institutions is an advantage.
• Exposure to procurement coordination or administrative processes is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills in English and Urdu; Sindhi is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office and case/data tracking tools.
• Strong commitment to ethical, survivor-centred programming.
