Position Objectives:
|
-
The District Programme Officer will be responsible for efficient execution of all the service delivery components of Recovery program and operations that are being carried out when & where required.
-
Will be responsible for providing support and technical facilitation to the district Volunteers trained team for execution of activities
-
Will supervise the program and operational related matters like planning and budgeting and the administrative management in coordination with Relevant line manager at PHQ
-
He/she will be responsible for efficient and effective implementation of various programs and activities Including, DM, Health, WASH, PGI, PMER and Y & V activities with support from technical leads

Carry out assessment, design and implementation activities; implementation of program activities; implementation of various programs and activities Including, DM, Health, WASH, PGI, PMER and Y & V activities
|

|
Develop linkages and maintain liaison with district Government for smooth implementation of PRCS activities and coordinate with stakeholders for efficient delivery of Recovery activities & relief services in disaster emergency situations.
|
|

|
Relation/negotiation with community for activities and ensure community participation. Supervise the activities community members/organizations.
|
|
4
|
Assess regularly the process of community-based Activities.
|
|
5
|
Manage and facilitate the supply of materials to field in collaboration with logistic department.
|
|

|
Communicate with other Sectors to homogenize methodology and conditions of interventions
|
|
7
|
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports and submission of the same to PHQ.
|
|
8
|
Provide support to district volunteers in planning and implementing all PRCS activities in District & communities.
|
|
9
|
Ensure preparation of the financial report in time and on prescribed format, verify the bills and put up to the Programme Manager for onward submission.
|
|

|
Mobilization of the volunteers & establishment of youth clubs and maintaining youth database and other records.
|
|
11
|
Planning, organization, promotion and implementation of various programs and activities including Y&V, DM, Health & WASH, Livelihood fundraising and branch development activities.
|
|
12
|
Conduct/ monitor Disaster Resilience Training for the registered volunteers through the Community DR Trainers.
|
|
13
|
Submission of activity and progress reports for program and other activities.
|
|
14
|
Any other task assigned by the Provincial Secretary
|

Education
|
|
|
|
Experience
|
-
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in development sector with humanitarian organization
-
Proficient in computer knowledge.
-
Prior experience with PRCS will be an added value
-
Excellent English writing/ speaking skills
-
Self-motivated, able to work independently without daily supervision
-
Strong organizational and time management skills a must
-
Experience in supervising project staff and volunteers
-
Experience in report writing, proposals and budgets
-
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity of tasks and able to take initiative
-
Have previous experience working with non-profits and/or youth from various backgrounds
-
Local Candidate of the district to be preferred

Strong written and oral communication skills;
