Relevant Experience:

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) will be an added advantage
• 5–10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in public or development sector
• Strong knowledge of procurement laws, policies, and procedures

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes (planning, sourcing, tendering, evaluation, and contract award)
• Prepare and review tender documents, RFPs, RFQs, and bid evaluations
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, rules, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., PPRA rules if applicable)
• Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify reliable vendors
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve best value
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders
• Monitor contract performance and ensure timely delivery of goods/services
• Manage procurement budgets and cost control measures
• Lead and supervise procurement staff (if applicable)
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Handle audits and ensure transparency and accountability in procurement processes
