Position summary

The Graphics and Visual Designer will support the Communications department by planning, executing, and delivering creative visual content for organizational communication goals. The role requires generating aesthetically appealing designs for both print and digital media, collaborating with program teams, and bringing innovative ideas to life while maintaining deadlines and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce content and design materials for print and digital media, including:
    • IEC materials (illustrations, training manuals, posters)
    • Event branding items (banners, backdrops, standees, certificates, momentos)
    • Stationery (table calendars, letterheads, visiting & ID cards)
    • Print mediums (reports, brochures, flyers, newsletters, greeting cards)
    • Digital interfaces (website, mobile applications)
    • Social media creatives on a daily basis
    • Visually engaging presentations and organizational profiles
  • Determine size, arrangement, font style, and layout for illustrative materials.
  • Prepare rough drafts based on briefs and review final layouts, suggesting improvements if needed.
  • Retouch and manipulate images for quality output.
  • Maintain an organized image and video bank.
  • Attend program meetings to understand design requirements and incorporate feedback.
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by the Communications department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Sciences, Graphic Design, or equivalent diploma.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a design-related role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design skills.
  • Hands-on experience with DSLR cameras for photography and videography.
  • Proficiency in design software:
    • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign)
    • Affinity Suite (Design, Publisher, Photo)
    • MS Office and typography software such as InPage.
  • Excellent aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management skills, able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable, calm under pressure, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date with industry trends and creative innovations.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, flexibility, and professional maturity.

Core responsibilities

  • Deliver creative, high-quality designs across print and digital mediums on time.
  • Maintain organized image/video assets for reuse and reference.
  • Collaborate effectively with program and communications teams.
  • Continuously update knowledge of design trends and best practices.
  • Handle multiple projects efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Uphold organizational branding and quality standards in all deliverables.
