Job Overview

The Videographer is responsible for the end-to-end visual storytelling of Solochoicez. You will capture high quality video content for educational modules, corporate events, and social media marketing. This role requires a blend of artistic vision and technical mastery of camera systems, lighting, and audio recording to ensure every frame aligns with the brand’s professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and operate professional video cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, or Cinema rigs) for various indoor and outdoor shoots.

• Arrange professional lighting setups (3-point lighting, gels, and diffusers) to ensure high-quality visual aesthetics in various environments.

• Manage on-site audio recording using lavalier mics, boom mics, and external recorders, ensuring crisp and synchronized sound.

• Work with the NLE Editor and Marketing team to develop storyboards, shot lists, and visual concepts for projects.

• Provide live coverage of seminars, training sessions, and corporate ceremonies in Islamabad and surrounding areas.

• Ensure all gear (lenses, gimbals, tripods, and batteries) is maintained, cleaned, and organized. Report any technical faults immediately.

• Assist in the secure transfer of raw footage to the editing team, ensuring proper labeling and backup of digital assets.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com).

• 01 year Diploma in Videography, Film Production, or Digital Media from a recognized institute.

• At least 01 year of professional experience in a production house, agency, or corporate media department.

• Deep knowledge of camera settings (shutter speed, ISO, aperture, frame rates) and stabilization tools (gimbals/sliders).

• Age Limit: 18 – 30 years.

• Strong understanding of composition, the "Rule of Thirds," and cinematic movement.

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly during a live shoot.

• Capacity to carry heavy equipment and remain active during long shooting days.

• Strictly adhering to production schedules to meet project deadlines.
