Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students, reinforcing the lessons taught by the Lead Special Educator.

Assist in the delivery of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by adapting classroom materials and activities to meet each student's specific needs.

Implement positive behavioral intervention strategies to manage classroom dynamics and support students with emotional or behavioral challenges.

Provide hands-on assistance to students with mobility or self-care needs

Organize and prepare specialized sensory tools, visual aids, and tactile learning materials before each session.

Observe student performance and maintain detailed logs of their social and academic progress to share during parent teacher meeting or multi disciplinary team meetings.

Work closely with the Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy fellows to ensure that therapeutic goals are integrated into the student’s daily classroom routine.
