Role Overview

As an Optometrist, you will be the primary eye care provider, responsible for performing comprehensive vision exams, diagnosing sight problems, and prescribing corrective lenses. In this clinical setting, you may also assist in identifying ocular symptoms of systemic diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform eye examinations using specialized equipment 
  • Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
  • Screen for eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
  • Provide pre and post operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.

Requirements 

  • Education: BS (4 years) in Optometry from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Experience: 01 year of post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Age Limit: 24–35 Years.
