Role Overview

As a Nutritionist Fellow you will be responsible for providing evidence based nutritional counseling and dietary planning to patients to improve patient outcomes through specialized metabolic and nutritional support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including anthropometric measurements, biochemical data review, and clinical history.

  • Design personalized meal plans and nutritional interventions tailored to specific medical conditions (e.g., pediatric nutrition, geriatric care, or rehabilitation support).

  • Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits, portion control, and the relationship between diet and recovery.

  • Track patient progress through regular follow-ups and adjust dietary protocols as necessary to meet health goals.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary case meetings to integrate nutritional therapy with physical and behavioral rehabilitation programs.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records regarding patient assessments and dietary interventions.

Requirement

  • Education: BS (4 years) in Nutrition and Dietetics from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Experience: Minimum 01 year of post-qualification experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

  • Age Limit: 24–35 years.

  • Strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy (MNT).

  • Ability to work compassionately with patients requiring long-term care.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English/Urdu).
