We are seeking a committed and field-oriented Field Coordinator to support the on-ground implementation of a Primary Health Care and Post-Abortion Care Support Project in urban poor communities.The position focuses on coordinating community outreach, supervising field teams, supporting safe referrals, and ensuring respectful, confidential, and rights-based access to essential primary healthcare and abortion-related services.
Coordinate daily field activities related to primary healthcare, family planning, and post-abortion care referrals
Ensure project activities are implemented in line with national health guidelines, ethical standards, and organizational SOPs
Monitor field progress against targets related to community outreach, referrals, follow-ups, and service utilization
Identify community-level barriers, stigma-related challenges, and operational issues and propose practical solutions
Prepare routine field reports highlighting service delivery, challenges, and outcomes
Supervise and support female community outreach workers, male outreach workers, and monitoring staff
Ensure field staff provide non-judgmental, confidential, and gender-sensitive counseling and information
Conduct regular field supervision visits to ensure quality of interactions with beneficiaries
Facilitate regular team meetings for planning, review, and learning
Support training and refresher sessions on:
Primary health care
Referral protocols and confidentiality
Coordinate with public and private healthcare providers, telemedicine services, and clinics to ensure:
Safe and timely referrals
Follow-up of abortion and post-abortion cases
Continuity of primary healthcare services
Work closely with the central call hub to ensure effective patient follow-up, counseling support, and feedback
Ensure referral pathways are clearly understood and followed by field staff
Support field-level use of digital tools including:
Community data collection applications
Provider and referral tracking systems
Telemedicine platforms
Ensure accurate, timely, and confidential data entry by field teams
Report technical issues to the project and IT teams
Support use of dashboards and field data for monitoring outreach and service uptake
Engage community leaders, women groups, and local influencers to promote:
Awareness of primary health services
Safe abortion and post-abortion care options within legal and ethical frameworks
Support community mobilization sessions addressing myths, stigma, and misinformation
Promote project acceptance through culturally sensitive engagement
Support baseline, endline, and operational research activities
Assist in ensuring data quality, informed consent, and ethical field practices
Document success stories, case studies, challenges, and lessons learned from the field
Provide evidence-based inputs for advocacy and potential scale-up with government and health stakeholders
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field
3–5 years of relevant field experience in:
Reproductive health, family planning, or abortion/post-abortion support programs
Experience working with urban poor and marginalized communities in Pakistan
Understanding of reproductive health rights and ethical service delivery
Strong field coordination and supervision skills
Experience with community outreach, referrals, and follow-up mechanisms
Familiarity with health data collection and mobile-based tools
Basic understanding of monitoring and reporting requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Respectful, non-judgmental, and empathetic approach
Ability to handle sensitive cases with confidentiality
Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in challenging field environments
Fluency in Urdu and English; knowledge of punjabi,Sikaiki, Sindhi, is an advantage
