Essential Responsibilities

  • Support the management of Mercy Corps Pakistan’s social media platforms by drafting posts, organizing content, and assisting with timely uploads under supervision.
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting reports, briefs, newsletters, and other communication materials to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Support field visits, when required, to collect photos, short videos, and human-interest content under guidance.
  • Assist in basic graphic design tasks for social media posts, brochures, presentations, and other IEC materials following Mercy Corps branding guidelines.
  • Help maintain and organize digital and print communication archives, including photos, videos, and project materials.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and communication products based on information provided by program teams.
  • Assist in compiling information and drafting short summaries or content pieces as requested by the Communications team.
  • Provide logistical and coordination support for visibility activities, campaigns, and events.
  • Coordinate with program teams for collecting communication inputs, under the guidance of the supervisor.
  • Perform other communication-related support tasks as assigned by the Communication and Knowledge Management Specialist.
