Job Summary

The MIS Dashboarding Developer must have a minimum 10 years of professional experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level MIS dashboards, with proven expertise in data integration, analytics, KPI development and performance reporting

Responsibilities

The MIS Dashboarding Developer shall be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Designing and developing dynamic, centralized and integrated MIS dashboards
  • Developing KPIs, performance indicators and management reports
  • Integrating data from multiple internal and external systems
  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency and reliability
  • Optimizing dashboard performance and query execution
  • Implementing security and access control mechanisms
  • Providing technical and architectural oversight for MIS solutions
  • Preparing technical documentation, user manuals and reports
  • Supporting deployment, training and post-implementation support
  • Coordinating with stakeholders for requirements gathering and validation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering or equivalent from an HEC recognized university.
  • Certifications in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Power BI, Tableau shall be considered an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10 (ten) years of professional experience in MIS development, data analytics, data warehousing management and dashboard design.
  • At least 5 (five) years experience in enterprise-level or government sector projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, Crystal Reports or equivalent tools
  • Experience in interactive dashboards, drill-down reports, KPIs, scorecards, and visual analytics
  • Expert-level experience in MS SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL /PostgreSQL
  • Strong command over T-SQL, complex queries, views, stored procedures
  • Experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience in integrating data from multiple systems
  • Knowledge of SSIS, data pipelines, APIs, and scheduled jobs
  • Experience in data cleansing, transformation, and validation
  • Strong understanding of MIS architecture and data flow design
  • Experience in designing centralized, integrated and scalable dashboards
  • Ability to translate business requirements into analytical models and visual solutions
  • Knowledge of KPI frameworks and performance measurement systems
  • Implementation of role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Data security, confidentiality and audit logging
  • Experience in government data security and compliance standards
  • Optimization of dashboard performance and query efficiency
  • Experience with large datasets and high-volume reporting systems
  • Caching and indexing strategies for reporting systems
  • Experience with on-premise and cloud-based BI solutions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure / Power BI Service
  • Experience in scheduling, publishing and maintaining dashboards
  • MS Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, Cognos
  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), PL/SQL Developer
  • Excel (advanced), Power Query, DAX
  • Version control systems (Git, TFS)
