Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
  • Build, optimize, and manage RESTful APIs.
  • Develop and maintain databases in PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with Angular-based front-end applications
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best-practice improvements.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and configurations.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Java 8 or similar older platform  
  • Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
  • Hands-on development experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Angular front-end integration
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in fintech / financial services domain.
  • Understanding of payment systems, compliance workflows, or transaction processing
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Self-driven and proactive problem solver.
