Network and System Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network and System Specialist to manage, maintain, and optimize network and server infrastructure. The specialist will ensure high availability, security, and performance of IT systems while supporting both internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices.
• Manage and monitor server systems and virtualization platforms.
• Implement and maintain network security measures and best practices.
• Monitor network and system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize infrastructure.
• Support cloud based deployments and hybrid network solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams and clients to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and system configurations.
• Assist in planning and implementing IT infrastructure upgrades and expansions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in network administration, system administration, or IT infrastructure support.
• 16 years of formal education in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Linux Administration are preferred.
• Hands-on experience with network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of network security, VPNs, and monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, monitoring, and cloud integration is a plus.
