DevOps Engineer / DevSecOps

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and security practices, ensuring highly available, scalable, and secure systems. This role bridges development, operations, and security to streamline software delivery and protect enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Integrate security practices into DevOps workflows including vulnerability assessments and automated security testing.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to automate testing, deployment, and configuration management.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure or application issues.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance across all deployments.
• Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools, best practices, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or DevSecOps Engineer.
• 16 years of formal education in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native services.
• Familiarity with security tools and DevSecOps practices 
• Strong problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, Docker, Kubernetes, or relevant security certifications are a plus.
