Position Title: School Van Driver
Reports To: Admin and Finance Assistant

Job Summary

The School Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring punctuality, safety, and compliance with all traffic and school transportation regulations. The driver must maintain a clean, orderly vehicle and provide a friendly, respectful environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school van along assigned routes and schedules.
• Pick up and drop off students at designated locations on time.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit, including enforcing seat belt and behavior rules.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tyres, lights, brakes, etc.).
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness inside the van.
• Assist young or special-needs students entering and exiting the vehicle when required.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, routes, maintenance, and attendance if required.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid driving license and good driving history.
• Experience in professional driving roles.
• Good understanding of road safety practices.
