Z.M.K. & Co. invites applications for the position of Training & Capacity Building Officer for UNDP Pakistan’s “Rights-Based Community Stabilization Project” in District Khyber.
UNDP Pakistan’s Decentralization, Human Rights & Local Governance (DHL) Project implements the Rights-Based Community Stabilization Project to promote sustainable community-based disengagement, reintegration, and resilience. The project strengthens local capacities through psychosocial support, education, skills development, awareness-raising, and engagement with key community actors.
To lead, organize, and manage all training and capacity-building activities, ensuring market-driven skills development, high-quality training delivery, and strong linkages with employers and service providers.
Conduct quick market assessments to identify in-demand skills and potential training institutions.
Design and coordinate vocational and soft-skills training programs for 200 beneficiaries.
Ensure inclusive selection processes, emphasizing youth, women, and vulnerable groups.
Supervise training providers and ensure quality delivery aligned with project standards.
Facilitate exposure visits, mentorship sessions, and practical training components.
Develop linkages with employers for internships, apprenticeships, and job placements.
Support entrepreneurship pathways and connect beneficiaries with microfinance and business services.
Engage communities to encourage participation and promote awareness of training benefits.
Maintain training records, track employment outcomes, and prepare progress reports.
Document lessons learned, success stories, and broader impact such as confidence and resilience.
Perform any other duties assigned by SWD and UNDP.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certifications in vocational training, market assessment, or livelihoods programming will be an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of experience in capacity-building, vocational training, or youth engagement programmes.
Experience working with government or multilateral organizations in project management.
Previous experience in the Merged Areas is a strong asset.
Demonstrated experience in integrating gender-sensitive approaches in training design and delivery.
Strong expertise in market assessment and demand-driven training design.
Excellent facilitation, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to build employment, apprenticeship, and entrepreneurship linkages.
Good analytical, reporting, and presentation skills with proficiency in MS Office.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Cultural sensitivity, especially regarding women’s participation and inclusion.
Team player with the ability to work under pressure.
