Qualification:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Education, or related field.

Training in community mobilization, hygiene promotion, or SBCC is an advantage.

Relevant Experience:

2–3 years of experience working with communities, preferably in health, WASH, MHH or IPC outreach programs.

Experience coordinating with LHWs, BHUs, community leaders and local platforms

 

Job Description:

 

  • Mobilize communities including women, adolescents and marginalized groups for active participation in project activities.
  • Assist awareness sessions on hygiene, sanitation, MHH, IPC and maternal and child health practices in coordination with BHUs and CHWs.
  • Assist establishment and functionality of facility-based WASH/IPC committees and community feedback platforms.
  • Identify and work with community influencers/social activists to encourage demand for health services and uptake of good practices.
  • Track refusals, dropouts and uptake trends and support MEAL and BCC Officers with community-level insights.
  • Maintain strong linkages with BHU Health Managers, Lady Health Workers (LHWs) and village elders for effective outreach.
