Job Purpose:
To provided effective support to Finance team in ensuring an efficient and effective financial environment and provide staff with the financial services & advice they need to ensure that the financial resources are effectively managed and comply with policies and procedures.
The incumbent will be primarily responsible for the transactions review, partners advance releases.He/she is responsible to ensure that data entered in financial system is complete and accurate in all respects.

Bookkeeping/accounting
- Review of payment request (invoices, bills, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, GRN etc.) for compliance
- Follow up with relevant staff for incomplete documentation
- Entering transactions in financial software (SHF)
- Staff claims review for compliance and processing
- Filing transactions vouchers for quick retrieval as and when needed
- Support local chapters when required
- Bank Reconciliation
- Salary Processing
- Dealing with Banks
Petty cash
- Petty cash payments, maintain appropriate liquid cash and replenishment
Audit
- Provide documentation to auditors (internal and external)
- Explain transactions details when requested

Education, and experience:

Education
- MBA or M.com/MS in Accounting preferably (Finance, Accounting)
Experience
- Two or Three years hands on experience in similar capacity in NGO/INGO
Skills: (Desirable)
- Interpersonal and Communication:
Excellent oral and writing skills in English language
Ability to apply analytical skills in the development of long term and short
term plans.
Should be able to manage multi task and manage work load
Proven track record of fostering team work and performing effectively in a team.
Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to create a climate of trust and transparency.
