District Support Officer ICCM

Purpose: To ensure efficient data collection, management, and reporting for the district's healthcare services, supporting informed decision-making and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection:

• Collect reports from healthcare providers and supervisors within the district.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of collected data.
• Ensure timely submission of reports.
• Enter and update data into the MIS database.
• Analyse collected data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies and take all corrective measure to rectify the data.
• Prepare regular stock reports as by the district supervisor or provincial manager.
• Submit reports to the district supervisor and provincial MIS team.
• Ensure the clarity and accuracy of reports submitted by the HCPs and supervisors.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations based on the collected data.
• Implement measures to ensure the quality and integrity of the data collected.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies with the support of supervisors and HCPs
• Maintain a system for tracking and reporting on data quality issues.
• Coordinate with the district supervisor and provincial MIS and ICCM team to address data-related needs and challenges.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and supervisors to ensure their understanding of reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Graduate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel)
• Experience with database management and analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of healthcare-related data and reporting standards.
