 Key Responsibilities

a. Video Production & Shooting

  • Plan, shoot, and record high-quality video content for promotional, documentary, and social media purposes.
  • Operate video cameras, drones, lighting, and audio equipment to capture compelling footage.
  • Conduct on-site and studio-based video recording as per project requirements.
  • Capture interviews, events, and field activities while ensuring high production standards.

b. Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos using professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Add special effects, motion graphics, transitions, and color corrections to enhance video quality.
  • Sync and mix audio, including background music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
  • Optimize video formats and resolutions for various platforms (social media, websites, presentations, etc.).

c. Content Planning & Storyboarding

  • Work with communication teams to develop storyboards and video scripts.
  • Ensure alignment of video content with project goals, branding, and messaging.
  • Suggest creative ideas for innovative and impactful video storytelling.

d. Equipment & Asset Management

  • Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of video and audio equipment.
  • Organize and archive raw and edited video files systematically.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest videography trends, techniques, and software advancements.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Film Production, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in videography and editing. Experience in NGO or development sector is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
    • Strong knowledge of camera operations, lighting setups, and audio recording.
    • Understanding of color grading, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
  • Other Competencies:
    • Creativity and attention to detail.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

4. Deliverables

  • Production of high-quality videos as per project needs.
  • Edited and finalized video content within agreed timelines.
  • Organized video files and archives for future use.
