Relevant Experience:
At least Bsc(Hons) degree in agriculture
Minimum 4-5 years’ relevant experience
Job Description:
- Provide overall technical expertise and management of all agricultural-related activities
- Engaging and building strong relationships with line department and community
- Design action plan and training modules on sustainable agriculture and kitchen gardening
- Support in development of detailed implementation and monitoring plan and directly undertake regular monitoring to ensure that the program processes and objectives defined in the project proposals are being met.
- Facilitate and provide training and guidance to farmers on kitchen gardening and sustainable agriculture practices
- Conduct pre and post KAP survey and analysis of training activities
- Through mobilization team provide guidance to farmers on various available government schemes/subsidies and how to access them to maximize the impact of the project and drive project sustainability.
- Document field achievements and lessons learned to integrate into project activities and device strategy for sustainability of the project.
- Support in developing project reports on agriculture activities, as needed.
- Conduct regular field visit
- Work closely with other team members in implementation of project activities
- Staff capacity building: Oversee capacity building of mobilization team in kitchen gardening and sustainable agriculture.
- Other duties, as assigned.
