Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design algorithms for LabVIEW FPGA based applications using NI USRPs/FlexRIOs.
• Advance knowledge of LabVIEW Development Environment and LabVIEW FPGA software tool-chains with sharp problem-solving skills.
• Working experience on Software Defined Radios (SDRs) to design
  RF communications systems.
• Develop algorithms related to Advance Digital Signal Processing (DSP) in MATLAB.
• System design and development activities of GP-SAR, under the guidance and as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Apply advanced scientific knowledge and expertise to solve complex technical challenges and provide guidance to project teams.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Monitor project progress and ensure that milestones are met within established timelines and budgets.
• Test and validate AI applications.
• Collect and label data.
• Setting up of AI frameworks including integrating and running deep-learning based libraries codes.
• General purpose GPU programming.
• CUA programming for implementation of optimized codes on NVIDIA GPUs.
• Maintain a record of all the versions of the code : version control.
• Write task completion report and prepare internal presentations.
• Keep abreast with the latest trends in Deep Learning, AI frameworks etc.
• To apply AI/ Computer vision models based on both Deep Learning and non-Deep Learning frameworks to test, validate and / or build applications of object detection, tracking, surveying of agricultural areas in aerial / satellite imagery / videos etc.
• To understand the internal working of the applied algorithms, to program NVIDIA GPUs (GPU programming) and work with AI frameworks such as keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, Darknet etc.

  QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Master in Computer Science / Computer Engineering (at least 16 Years of Education) / BE (DSP, Embedded, HPC, etc.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Master coursework. Should be completed in Computer Science / Software Engineering disciplines/Computer Engineering or Equivalent discipline with practical experience from and HEC recognized institution. Specialization in software engineering would be given preference.
• Undergraduate Degree. Should be completed in Computer Science / Software Engineering discipline / Computer Engineering or Equivalent discipline from HEC recognized institution.
• Skilled in LabVIEW Real‐Time and LabVIEW FPGA
• Hands-on Experience with PXI, PCI, PXIe, PCIe, cRIO, and cDAQ.
• Skilled in MATLAB Signal Processing Toolbox.
• Signal Processing Experience.
• Filter Designing and Real time Implementation.
• Signal & Data Processing in LabVIEW/MATLAB Simulation Environment.
• FPGA & SDR Architecture Understanding.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

• Preferably with 03 years relevant experience of system design and development.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• Foreign qualified, Experienced professional would be preferred.
• The hired individual will undergo a 3 months’ probation period during which the individual will be under close scrutiny. The final appointment will be confirmed completion of the probation period.
• The hired engineer will undergo a 2‐3-month training period during which the engineer will be on probation. The final appointment will be confirmed after completion of the training period.
