Relevant Experience:

 At least 18 years of experience in a management role preferably in a similar setup.

Job Description:

• Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization.
• Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and program sustainability.
• Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements.
• Supervise project managers to provide feedback and resolve complex problems.
• Discover ways to enhance the efficiency and productivity of procedures and people.
• Apply change, risk and resource management principles where required.
• Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
• Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports and presentations
• Foster relationships with external partners and stakeholders, ensuring program alignment with their needs and goals.
• Communicate program progress, outcomes, and impact to stakeholders and funders.
• Develop and maintain program documentation and reports, including program plans, budgets, and progress reports.
• Manage program staff, providing direction and support to ensure program success.
• Donor reporting and management.
• Managing public health grant proposals.
• Identify new grant opportunities.
