We are looking for qualified and experienced candidates 1 male and 1 female for or project in District Mansehra, Tehsil Balakot. Preference will be give to local individuals. The Job Description is as under:

 Project Summary:

IDEA shall be implementing HOIFA_ Winter Ready Initiative – Enabling Winter Contingency Plan in Union Councils Kaghan and Bhoonja/Kawai, Tehsil Balakot, District Mansehra, a project in collaboration with WHH.

Job Requirement: The social mobilizers are responsible for engaging with communities, building rapport, and implementing strategies to ensure effective distribution of winterization kits. This position requires a combination of communication skills, community engagement, and logistical coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement:

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with community members to gain trust and cooperation.
• Conduct community meetings, workshops, and awareness sessions to inform residents about the winterization program and the importance of preparedness.

Needs Assessment:

• Collaborate with local authorities and community leaders to conduct thorough needs assessments to identify vulnerable individuals or families requiring winterization support.

Distribution Planning:

• Work closely with the project manager to develop a comprehensive plan for the distribution of winterization kits, considering factors such as demographics, geography, and specific needs of the community.

Logistical Coordination:

• Coordinate logistics for the procurement, storage, and transportation of winterization kits.
• Ensure that distribution processes adhere to established protocols and timelines.

 Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of beneficiaries, distribution activities, and feedback received from the community.
• Submit regular reports to project managers on the progress of community mobilization and distribution efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in social work, community development, or a related field.
• Previous experience in community mobilization and distribution programs, preferably in emergency response or humanitarian contexts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
• Strong organizational and logistical coordination skills.
• Familiarity with the local community and cultural context.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, data entry).
