JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) is currently executing USAID funded project titled Integrated Health Systems Strengthening and Service Delivery Activity (IHSS-SD Activity). The IHSS-SD Activity, will provide targeted technical assistance at the federal and provincial level in areas pertaining to GHSA. At the provincial level, IHSS-SD Activity will work in KP, Punjab and Sindh, whereas Balochistan, AJK and GB will be supported through federal MoNHSR&C. At the district level (selected), the Activity will build capacity of human resources for responding to infectious diseases especially COVID-19, and for the operationalization of disease surveillance & response units.
JSI is currently seeking applications from individuals for the positions of Public Health Consultant on short durations. These consultants will provide technical support for the activities pertaining to MNCH, Communicable/Infectious Diseases and Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) that are being carried out under the project.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates having MBBS or Social Sciences preferably with MPH. Having worked in public health programs, donor funded health projects especially MNCH, Communicable Disease and GHSA. Knowledge of Government health system management is desirable.
Working knowledge of MS office (specifically MS Word & MS Excel) is mandatory.
TERMS OF REFERENCE:
Terms of Reference for the multiple positions will be shared with potential candidates based on the nature of assignment and contract.
LOCATION: Islamabad, provincial capitals, federally administered regions. Travel to fields is expected during the assignment
CONTRACT TYPE:
Individuals will be engaged under a consultancy contracts and will not be entitled to benefits such as leaves and medical insurance.
