Position Objectives:

To support DD Response in emergency response operations in term of CVA and Livelihood across the in time of emergency and in long term development projects.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities:

1

Support the design and implementation of CVA (Cash & Voucher Assistance) projects to provide smooth and timely cash assistance as well as maximizing local capacities

2

Support and advise on all cash-related activities as required, including market assessment, engaging with FSPs and vendor selection, and promote accountability in all program cycle.

Undertake risk analysis related to the cash intervention and contribute to the development of mitigation measures.

4

Ensure a coordinated, integrated and collaborative approach is undertaken in the area of Cash with other sector leads.

Assist the DD Response/CVA in ensuring branch staff receive relevant skills training and knowledge development required for effective implementation.

Maintained close liaison with FSPs and cash working group.

Work closely with the PMER Manager to ensure proper M&E system is in place, train key branches staff to ensure that project data is properly collected, centralized, analyzed, and used as lessons learnt.

Support DD Response/CVA in disaster response operations including development of EPOA and budget.

Conduct cash baselines in vulnerable districts.

 Support in beneficiary registration, data cleansing and finalization of beneficiary list after scoring matrix.

 Support in submission of timely financial and narrative reports.

Any other task assigned by the PRCS competent authority.

 Education.

 

 16 Years of Education / Master in social sciences or other relevant field preferably in disaster management from HEC recognized university / institution.

 

 Experience.

 

 Minimum 5 year experience in disaster management with at least 02 year in cash  related projects.

 

 Skills / Knowledge.

 

Advanced skills in computers (Windows, word processing, spread sheets, etc.)

 

 Maximum age limit up to  40   years.

 

 Travelling: -  Extensive in country travelling particularly during emergencies.
