Objective:

The Research Officer will assist Reforms Section, Finance Department for day-to-day functions and assist in the implementation related activities including monitoring of the Reforms section and over-all donor activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Close coordination with several donor agencies to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain a record of official correspondence (files, letters, emails, minutes, notifications, etc.)
  • Assist the officers of Reforms wing, Finance Department in day-to-day functions related to donor’s coordination specifically of GPP-KP
  • Assist the Reforms wing, Finance Department to maintain data and information related to donor projects assisting Finance Department under PFC/Reforms
  • Assist in the development of a consolidated and comprehensive log frame with results and milestones for the developmental projects.
  • Provide networking, coordination, and substantive support to efforts for building and reaching out to the relevant stakeholders
  • Command on MS Office and IT users are required  
  • High standards of personal integrity
  • Preparation of special reports assigned by the Deputy Secretary, Reforms Section, Finance Department
  • Any other assignment assigned by the senior officials of Finance Department

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master Degree in International Relations/Communications/Social Sciences or relevant subject from HEC recognized university
  • Minimum 03-year experience in the development sector
  • Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment

Institutional Arrangements:

The incumbent will be based at Reforms Section, Finance Department, Civil Secretariat, Peshawar.

Duration of Assignment:

Up to one year, extendable upon satisfactory performance, dully recommended by the supervisor.
