Functions & Responsibilities

• Contributes towards the overall goal and objectives of the organization.
• To support in maintaining Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) as set by the Government of Pakistan for field health unit.
• Assist Medical Officer in conducting daily OPD and dealing emergency.
• On arrival at duty, take over a proper charge of medicine, cleaning items etc. from the duty staff (Nurse/LHV).
• Immediately inform Supervisor or Admin/HR in case of an incident/emergency.
• Ensure presence in FHU 24/7 fifteen days a month.
• To take the vitals of the patients and generate reports.
• To perform ultra sound.
• Compile and ensure timely submission of daily/monthly reports and records.
• Screen high risk pregnancies and refer them to Medical Officer.
• Ensure labor room is thoroughly clean and all required instruments to conduct a delivery are properly sterilized.
• Conduct safe and clean normal delivery as per standard guidelines.
• Keep delivered woman under observation for at least 06 hours for PNC at health facility.
• Disseminate information on importance of routine vaccination, care of baby’s cord, personal & new born hygiene and nutrition etc.
• Ensure all equipment/instruments in Labor Room/MNCH Center are well maintained.
• Participate in capacity development trainings organized by the Organization.
• To participate in progress meetings.
• May require to perform other related duties assigned by supervisor as per organization’s set standards.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• LHV diploma from a recognized and registered institute
• Registered with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) and having a valid registration.

Experience

• Minimum 02 years of working experience in hospital setup or similar.

Core Competencies

• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Must have knowledge of Computer operation and use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Language Skills:

Urdu, Pashto and English

Age Limit

Maximum 40 Years

Salary

55,000/- PKR

Domicile

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

• Willing to work 24/7, fifteen days in a month on rotation basis.
• Organization will provide residence to the LHV at FHU
