Job Description:

  • Ensure delivery of physical and financial targets in line with the approved work plan and budget with 100% compliance to organization and donor guidelines.
  • Quality review of Partner Organizations detailed implementation plan, advance requests, financial forecasts and annual work plans and budgets submitted by the Partner Organizations for final review by Supervisor and Programme Director.
  • Review monitoring reports related to assets transfers and training and provide timely input to Supervisor / Programme Director regarding any corrective action to be taken.
  • Provide guidance to Partner Organizations and other programme staff on designing and execution of livelihood  interventions e.g.  trainings, transfer of livelihood assets, assessments for tracking outcomes livelihood interventions  etc.
  • Provide technical support and backstopping to the Partner Organizations in effective implementation of the program.
  • Build and manage relationships with skill development institutions, Partner Organizations, and community institutions.
  • Technical backstopping of Partner Organizations field managers in developing and implementing and alerting senior management to the issues that can impact programme.
  • Quality review (in line with PIM) of payment requests, SoEs and other financial reports/documents received from POs for review of Supervisor and Programme Director 
  • Document and report all the major activities occurring during the project life cycle.
  • Develop and conduct the presentations/ orientations for the partner organizations to build their capacity on program interventions.
  • Reviewing statement of expenditure (SOE) and ensuring the disbursement of funds to partner organizations.
 

Relevant Experience:

  • At least 16 years of education or Masters in Social Sciences and relevant disciplines / Project Management/Masters in Business Administration / Masters in Public Administration or relevant discipline from HEC recognized institue. 
  • Minimum 07 years’ experience in programme management experience particularly of livelihood programmes with reputable national and international agencies.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a team management role. 
  • Excellent programme management and partner organizations’ relationship management skills.
  • Excellent financial management including preparation  for fianancial forecasts and budget for programme interventions including review of financial statements submitted by the partner organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Urdu and any other local language of Pakistan.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Supervision and management skills of multi-disciplinary team.
  • Requires extensive travelling in field across Pakistan.
