Consultancy Opportunity for Baseline Reporting Writing and Quality Assurance of Household Data Collection

A well-established national level not-for-profit organization is looking for enthusiastic/energetic candidate for the following position.

Education

Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Management, Anthropology

Experience

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the social sector for field monitoring, data collection, data management, research and report writing

Job Requirements

•    10-15 years of experience of research, data management, report writing  
•    Knowledge and understanding of quantitative data and its management
•    Ability to comprehend the findings and elaborate statistical data sets
•    Good knowledge and experience regarding health and immunization
•    Proficiency in SPSS, MS-Excel and MS-Office
•    Extensive experience of writing baseline and research reports
•    Ability to work independently
•    Willing to travel in field for data verification (if required)

Major Terms of Reference

•     Understand the baseline objectives and its relevance with the project
•     Undertake team meetings and develop write up methodology for baseline
•     Develop quality standards for maintaining reliability of data
•     Also prepare data quality checks (for invalid, incorrect, misinformation, not filled, etc.)
•     Hold monitoring visit and check quality of data collection
•     Extend support to field coordinators for ensuring quality standards in data collection and throughout the process of baseline
•     Document the process of baseline including objectives, methodology, quality assurance, findings, etc.
•     Guide teams according to international standards of research in terms of conducting field research
•     Analysis of the data and prepare tables with feedback and coordination of team prior to report writing
•     Triangulation of the data with the analysis of EPI facility data of same locations
•     Produce a clean data set along with analysis table
•     Produce individual baseline reports for five locations
•     Develop one consolidated baseline report for all locations.
