|
- Completed 16 years of education with a Bachelor degree in economics, development economics, development studies, public administration, strategic management from a reputed national/international university. A Master’s degree would be preferred.
- 15 to 20 years of demonstrated experience, in Commerce and Trade facilitation
- Experience in developing strategies for the facilitation of Businesses, undertake trade and investment promotion initiatives, regulatory and global trade and trade policy initiatives at progressively important positions
- Sound knowledge of Services Sector
- Deep understanding of the current state of Domestic Commerce and International Trade of Pakistan; knowledge of Sindh is seen as a strong positive
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the national, provincial, local regulatory, legal and policy environment
- Previous experience of engaging with the private and public sectors for a robust assessment of the constraints underlying the competitiveness of Firms, particularly the SMEs
- Previous experience of working with USAID projects in economic growth will be preferred
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
