The Human Resources Officer will provide administrative and technical support to the HR team in Islamabad, Karachi & Multan Offices. This position reports to the HR Manager in Islamabad.


Scope of Work

  • Support the project’s human resources department in coordination with the HR manual.
  • Maintain HR Filing system for all project offices, record keeping of all documents, both electronically on an online HRIMS and hard binders.
  • Support in vetting process for potential employees.
  • Support in recruitment process including, but not limited to, advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, EBD Verification, reference/background check, and issuing employment/consultant contracts to new appointees as well as recruitment of grants related staff.
  • Recording the process of Candidate Selection, writing salary justification and liasion with HO on a regular basis regarding recruitment approvals, transfers, resignations, leave encashment, processing final payments etc.
  • Coordination with HO for creation/deletion of Oracle IDs and Email IDs for project employees.
  • Maintain leaves record for all staff both manually and on an internal HRIMS module.
  • Time sheet processing and maintaining monthly consolidated HR Field data.
  • Managing and tracking changes in Health, EOBI & life Insurance details of all staff.
  • Maintaining trackers for employment, leaves, health claim reimbursement, performance management & attendance.
  • Serve as a backstop in the absence of HR Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.



  • University degree in relevant field. Masters degree preffered.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Relevant experience working on USAID contract in a similar role highly preferred.
  • Relevant experience of working on HR Information Management Systems/Modules.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office suite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.
