Education

Master Degree in Social Sciences or Communications

Experience

Minimum 05-07 years of experience in the social sector of communication, research and report writing

Job Requirements

•    Qualitative & Quantitative Primary and Desk Research Skills
•    Excellent Writing & Communication Skills
•    Demonstrated ability to draft concise information in English for a range of users from detailed progress reports to media releases
•    Ability to analyze complex information and to draw out the key points and issues and to present them in an interesting and easy style.
•    Use information technology effectively as a tool and resource.
•    Excellent Command on MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point
•    Able to work independently to identify information and knowledge sharing opportunities.
•    Able to Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously
•    Analytical & Critical Thinking
•    Commitment to CHIP’s Mission and Values
•    Willingness to Learn & Ability to Work Efficiently and Effectively with a Wide Variety of People

Major Terms of Reference

•    Conduct primary and secondary research;
•    Undertake critical analysis of multiple reports as and when required;
•    Prepare multiple types of reports e.g. research, progress, case studies, updates, manuals etc.
•    Develop training manual and presentation using advance online tools;
•    Data cleaning, coding, analysis and management;
•    Review, improve and rewrite reports submitted by other staff members for strengthening language, presentation and lay out for better comprehension; and
•    Prepare solicited and unsolicited proposals according to the community development needs whenever required.
