Relevant Experience: 

  • Relevant experience of 15 years and above of development sector preferably with national and international organizations/firms in developing strategies, especially around Social Mobilization and rural development.
  • Excellent strategic understanding of Pakistan’s development history and role of social mobilization
  • Proven experience in developing training manuals on themes related to community voice and empowerment, and around SDGCapability to produce high quality documents and presentations around the deliverables
  • Willing to travel to remote areas during the assignment
  • Excellent Communication skills and report writing.

Job Description:

Scope of work:

  • Consultant will review the existing SM strategy ,  community training’s manuals like community management skills trainings (CMSTs), CRPs manuals, and other relevant documents, research studies /documents of PPAF and its partner organizations.
  • Meetings and discussion with PPAF SM staff and management.
  • Meetings with randomly selected partners, (RSPs)communities (virtual/ physical)
  • Submit inception report/ workplan of consultancy.
  • Submission of 1st draft of revised SM strategy, CRPs/ CMST Training manuals. Presentation to senior management.
  • Final submission of approved documents to reporting GHs
  • Training of PPAF staff on new SM Strategy

  Consultant’s Responsibility:

  • Submission of Inception Report and Workplan.
  • Submission of deliverables as per agreed workplan and timelines.
  • Field visits and Stakeholders’ Consultation with the Partner Organizations, Community Organizations on sample basis considering the provincial factor.
  • Meeting with PPAF’s team when and where required.
  • submission of final reports and Presentations to PPAF management.
  • Keep confidentiality. Prior approval from competent authority of PPAF is required for further use and publication.

 

Deliverables:

  1. Inception Reports and Workplan.
  2. Draft revised strategy
  3. Draft revised training manual (CI and CRP).
  4. Presentation to senior management
  5. Final report and training modules delivered with Final Presentation.
  6. Training of PPAF staff on new SM strategy (with training guide document)
