Job Purpose
The Project manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementation of the project in accordance with the donor’s requirements, organizational values and guidelines, and with respect to the humanitarian principles advocated by the organization; he/she is also entrusted with representing organization with the local authorities, and ensuring that the operations deployed are delivering quality health care and other services to the beneficiaries;
Key Responsibilities
- Plans, supervises, monitors and timely implements all program activities with support of Admin/Finance and Logs in accordance with the plans and directives of the coordination team and the Field coordinator;
-Creates bonds and develop strong networking channels with community stakeholders i.e. beneficiaries, traditional leaders and elders in addition to the local governmental agencies and institutions present in the area of his/her filed site; report on monthly basis to the Field Coordinator the activities related to networking;
- Evaluates program performance and providing all the required reports to his/her line manager
- Responsible for the budget management assigned to his/her project; pilots the proper planning, sizing, and coordination of all financial and material resources related to the project;
Academic Qulification: Master degree in Social sciences, Project Management and Business Administration,Preferred having a health project minor; preferred trainings in logistics, project management, emergency operations;
Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial position in an INGO/NGOs;
Competencies:
Conceptual: Ability to encourage, direct and coach people, towards achieving personal and organizational objectives/set objectives, conduct resource provision planning, and draw a risk assessment/undertake a corrective action regarding a non-conformity, an incident or a problem/sustain a network of vital stakeholders in relation with mission.
Transversal:Ability to develop and practice an integrating attitude and behavior towards the cultural context in which he/her is working/deploy tools to manage/deal with the identified stress level, factors and causes & mechanisms to reduce the and contain the complexity of a situation.
Technical & Linguistic Skills:
-Ability to design and conceive structured budget, spending plans.
-Excellent Communication skills in English,Urdu and ability to speak Local languages is an asset.
