Relevant Experience:

1.    Bachelor’s Degree in Communication/Media

2.    Professional Communication Skills (Interpersonal, Written, Verbal etc.)

3.    Experience of 1-2 years as content writer and editor. Work experience in development organization is preferred.

4.    High Level of Integrity and Honesty.

5.    Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.


Job Description:

1.    Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities, products and/or services.

2.    Write and design content for social media platforms.

3.    Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the organization.

4.    Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.

5.    Directs the overall flow of information for a company including human resources, public relations, field offices and headquarters.

6.    Works with staff in every department of the company.

7.    Communicates with members of print, radio and television media if required.

8.    Manages social media communications.

9.    Maintains social media pages and website of the organization.

10. Prepare and implement advertising strategy for social media platforms.

11. Maintains a calendar of assigned projects and deadlines.

12. In accordance with program team, prepares project letters, brochures and other publicity materials.

13. Supports program team in development and printing of training material and training guide.

14. Participate in developing and evaluating feasibility, efficiency and quality of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials

15. Any other task assigned by HR and CEO.

Knowledge, Expertise and Skills

1. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

2. Must have excellent computer skills particularly with software applications like Word and PowerPoint.

3. Knowledge of Associated Press writing style guide.

4. Knowledge and experience of managing website/ facebook & Instagram page and their paid advertising.

5. Must be expert in Graphic designing.

6. Must have the ability to effectively prioritize projects and multi-task.

7.Must be able to function well in a team environment.

8. Must have strong public speaking skills.

9. Must be highly detail oriented.

10. Expert knowledge of the company’s mission statement and product and service offerings.

11. Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

12. Must have good problem solving and decision-making skills.
