Context:

The Finance Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa felt that there is a dire need for Coordination regarding reforms initiatives undertaken by the Finance Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Coordination Officer will support the Finance Department and will work closely with the Finance Department to coordinate among various departments of the provincial government and the federal government regarding its reforms initiatives under the ambit of good governance.

Scope of Duties:

  • Provide support in secretariat services to the Finance Department; including conveying/coordinating; ensuring that all participants receive relevant information ahead of meetings; taking notes during as well as circulating notes after the meetings;
  • Contribute to the development of relevant policy briefs, lessons learned documents, communication materials, website updates, and other relevant publications;
  • Assist the Finance Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in sector-specific initiatives and consistent monitoring and follow up of the interventions.
  • Support coordination between other departments, both at the provincial and federal levels.
  • Support in regular follow-up and monitoring of implementation activities;
  • Contribute to timely preparation and submission of required reports etc.
  • Support dissemination of information and knowledge management within the team for effective project implementation;
  • Any other relevant task as assigned by the Finance Department.

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Set:

  • Bachelors’ degree from a recognized institute
  • At least three years of professional experience in coordination, research, etc.
  • Expertise and experience on cross-cutting issues is desired;
  • Experience working for the Government is an asset.

Contract Duration

Initially for one year with possible extension based on performance.
