Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
Tailor a set of security requirements for latest payment infrastructure being deployed in SBP in light of prevalent international standards and best practices.
Ensure compliance to the security requirements by conducting internal reviews and building mitigation strategies to resolve findings in a timely manner.
Manage cryptographic keys used within the group including definition, maintenance and review of related policies and procedures.
Act as an internal security subject matter expert (SME), advocating for better security practices.
Establish routine scanning of the infrastructure to proactively detect vulnerabilities.
Perform security awareness training to new resources as a part of on-boarding processes.
Observe technical onboarding of new participants to payment infrastructure from security perspective.
 

 Eligibility Criteria:


Education

Must have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 16 years of education in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems / Computer Systems / Computer Engineering / Systems Engineering or other IT related disciplines with a specialization in security or forensics or related discipline from HEC recognized domestic or reputable foreign university.

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant certifications.

Age:

Maximum 35 years, as of the date of submission of application (as per CNIC). Relaxation maybe allowed in case of additional relevant experience.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, preferable in the payments industry.

Competencies:
Knowledge and experience with PCI DSS, PCI PIN and PCI PTS security requirements.
A deep and broad understanding of payment security vulnerabilities, attacks and techniques to identify and mitigate against them.
Attention-to-detail required to develop high quality security framework.
Capable of managing and leading a team.
