HelpAge International in Pakistan
HelpAge International has been working in Pakistan for close to two decades through partners and an established country office since 2010. HelpAge has been actively involved in humanitarian and development projects. HelpAge has supported thousands of older people, their families and communities through our development programs including Livelihoods, Health, Disaster Risk Reduction and Advocacy for the protection of the rights of older people.
Project Background
HelpAge International is implementing a DFID funded project in a consortium with international organizations for emerging and long-term humanitarian needs of TDPs from August 2015 and will complete in December 2019. HelpAge International is a technical partner of the consortium project on ageing and disability inclusion. The project implementation areas are located in Peshawar, Banu, Kohat, North Waziristan and Orkazai tribal districts of KPK.
Key Activities of the project
- Sensitization of partner organizations on ageing and disability inclusion
- Capacity building of partner organizations, government departments and other humanitarian organizations on inclusion, ageing and disability, inclusive emergency response and activities
- Technical support to partner organizations on inclusion
- Formation of ERT and capacity building of ERT members
- Distribution of age and disability related assistive devices and aids among vulnerable people
- Provision of transport services to vulnerable people to access essential protection and health services
- Address the emerging needs of TDP communities
The Assignment
We are now looking to hire services of reputable firms to develop a project report included infographics and case studies. AI HHAI
Expectation from the Firms
- Worked in close coordination with HelpAge International to develop a Project report
- Review projects documents, reports and monitoring/lesson learnt reviews
- To travel to the project locations (if necessary)
- Develop a project report with infographics, relevant pictures and case studies
Deliverables
- Project Reports with infographics, case studies and pictures
Expectation from HelpAge International
- To brief the consultant team on the project and activities.
- Provide all the required information related to the project.
- Provide input on the tools and report
Time Frame
- All deliverables must be completed by 15th January 2019.
Logistics
All the logistics arrangements will be beard by the respective firms.
