Business & Marketing Specialist

Relevant Experience & Qualification: 

• 5-7 year working experience in the field of social sector particularly business development, marketing, women empowerment at provincial and district level.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration with MBA in marketing or project management.

• Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
• Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills

 Job Description:

The position is responsible for carrying out the office and field level activities related to – Project titled “Women’s Increased Access to Water Resources and Agricultural Markets” in District Hyderabad, Tando Mohammad Khan and Badin. 

• Conduct market research to identify new trends, habits as per the requirement of the project.
• Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
• Develop linkages with the government agencies such as research, training institutes & microfinance institutions etc.
• Develop business plans for women who are either small landholders, sharecroppers or livestock caretakers
• Capacity building training of women farmers and encourage them for entrepreneurial activities
• Able to maintain coordination with Business Development Service Providers.
• Develop strategies to connect rural women farmers with market.
• Enhance the technical and financial capacities of the women farmers so they can participate in economic and market activities.
• Develop the value chain from producer, traders and business development service provider.
• Promote and upscale small-scale micro agro-enterprises.

• Close Coordination with Sindh Irrigation Drainage Authority (SIDA), District Agriculture and Livestock department, representatives.
• Following the work plan and meeting the targets as per the plan.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and bi-annual work plans and activity reports.
• Documentation of all activities and compiles data for monthly and quarterly reports.
