An International Medical organization working in Pakistan since 1996 through MOU with Government of Pakistan and has (medical) programs for vulnerable populations in KPK (Hangu & DIK district) and Punjab.
The main objective of the consultancy is to provide Tax and Legal services to the organization;

Tax services
· Advice on various matters related to tax deduction/submission as per stipulated laws with sufficient explanation and illustrations.
· Maintain a record of law amendments in chronological order and notify in a timely manner.
· Maintain tax rate card based on revised tax rates on an annual basis and share with the organization before the commencement of the financial year.
· In charge of filing all types of declarations/statements/returns on behalf of the organization while compliant with applicable laws of FBR.
· Responsible for preparing and submitting monthly/bi-annual and annual statements/returns based on tax detail shared by organization.
· Review all the tax deduction submitted by the organization and highlight discrepancies within due time.
· Pro-actively alert relevant staff in organization for the submission of declarations/statements/returns.
· Alert relevant staff in Organization for expected delays and consequences of being non-compliant, in good time.
· Maintain a complete record of employees as well as suppliers on an individual basis in order to provide tax deduction certificates as and when required.
· Advice on possible tax exemptions and prepare exemption requests in coordination with relevant management of an organization.
· Act as focal person for responding all inquiries and notices issued by relevant authorities particularly for tax assessments and audits.
· Organize tax orientations for staff as and when requested by the organization/Management.
Legal services
· Provide advice on legal matters and assist in drafting legal opinions and other legal documents.
· Represent our organization in national courts for any litigation against contractors, suppliers, employees or Government institutions.
· Responsible for preparing/collating documents for court cases, in coordination with our organization.
· Provide legal assistance for preparing contracts, memorandums and agreements as and when requested by the organization.
· On behalf of the organization, coordinate with relevant federal and provincial authorities as and when required with regard to organizational legal matters.
· Ensure strict confidentiality of Organizational documents and information while seeking prior consent before sharing anything on behalf of the organization.
