Objective of the Consultancy
Under the overall directions and guidance of the Ministry of NHSR&C, this position will be responsible for the design and layout of reports, policy briefs, presentations and other print and AV (Audiovisual) communication materials
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The consultant will undertake following principal duties and responsibilities:
- Attend the conceptual meetings to obtain guidance on design requirements of a given material
- Plan concept by studying information and materials
- Develop illustrations, info-graphics, layouts, AV ideas that reflect a health context while also maintaining the design aesthetics
- Prepare final design/layout/version by incorporating the feedback provided
- Complete projects, where required, by coordinating with outside agencies like art services, printers, etc.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing creative designs while observing the timelines
Required Skills and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, industrial design, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design including info-graphics, layouts and templates
- 1-2 years experience of editing the AV materials
In addition, the candidates should have:
- Strong graphic design, Layout skills
- Creatively using the analytics
- Deadline-oriented
- Well-versed with desktop publishing tools and graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, CorelDraw, and Urdu software like InPage.
- Basic editing skills will also be required along with being skillful on Adobe Premier/Aftereffect
Period of Performance and LOE
The expected duration of the assignment is six (6) months with a total LOE (Level of Effort) of 120 days (i.e. November 01, 2019 to April 31, 2020), distributed at maximum 20 days per month.
Supervision
The consultant will report to the SAPM/MH and Country Director, GHSC-PSM project
