Relevant Experience:
- Master Degree in Social Science
- Three years’ experience in development sector preferably in Education.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Good monitoring & Evaluation skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good Skills of MEAL
- Knowledge files management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
Job Description:
- Lead all M&E initiatives for assigned grant(s)/project(s) including monitoring data quality, tracking the progress of activities, and informing staff capacity building initiatives.
- Lead M&E system and process development, creating a framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities.
- Define and implement the key project performance indicators (KPI) as well as monitor them throughout the duration of the projects.
- Keep abreast of developments in grant/program changes and progress in order to advise and recommend tools and strategies to increase program performances and results.
- Support Director Implementation in reviewing donor reports to ensure high quality reports are submitted on time for this grant/program.
- Assist Director implementation in establishing log frames, M&E work plans, and targets during the drafting donor project proposals as well as throughout project implementation
- Assist Program Managers and the Director implementation of organization in the formulation of baseline measures and targets, during writing and set up of donor project proposals as well as throughout project implementation
- Document the lessons learned and best practices of the different programs and projects.
- Coordinate with field formations for compilation and dissemination of daily ,Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and final reports as per IDEA and donor requirement
- Frame work plan in consultation with field formation
- Facilitate and report programmatic data analysis, documentation and reporting of assessments, program data, framing data collection reporting tools in consultation with MEAL officers/manager
- Develop and maintain effective information database on projects, providing resource and necessary support for program inputs and outputs.
- Collecting and providing necessary data from the field and sharing with data analyst for further action.
- Document and analyze innovative human interest stories.
- Documents bottlenecks, problems and issues, and proposes effective solutions
- Ensures monitoring frameworkplan is updated on regular basis
- Submitting daily updates, and weekly and monthly reports on the targets achieved and the progress of the project activities agreed upon in the cooperation agreements and detailed work plans;
- Accompanying project visitors to the field when required, in consultation with the Project Coordinators and MEAL Manager.
