Relevant Experience and Education:

  • Master Degree in social Science
  • Five years’ experience in development sector preferably in Education.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge files management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.

 

Job Description:

  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project strand.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests for the trainings and overall project deliverables.
  • Maintaining the relationship with the local education department and the volunteers network
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Provide direct technical and managerial supervision and support to project. Manage all aspects of project planning and quality implementation, including providing technical expertise, project finance and budget compliance, supervising staff tasks and performance, coordinating with partners, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting, building staff capacity as required.
  • Develop detailed implementation plan with the support of staff and implement the activities.
  • Manage field teams and review the targets vs achievement. Keep him/her self-updated with all the field activities.
  • Develop and share monthly districts visit plan with the Head of Programme and share report at the end of each visit.
  • Supervise the data collection, entry and analysis on monthly basis and share regular reports with the senior management team.
  • Share weekly work-plan and progress with the head of programme and monthly progress in the SMT meeting.
  • Conduct regular contact with the field staff, through various means of communication.
  • Keeps close coordination with the funding agency, line departments, community and other stakeholders.
  • Has the ability to resolve conflict within the staff and at the community level.
  • Provide/arrange capacity building trainings and technical support to the project staff
