Position Objectives:

The Nurse will be responsible for MCH-related activities in the BHU in close Coordination with Medical Officer.

|
Contributes towards the overall goal and objectives of PRC.
|

|
Works in line with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Principles.

|
Adheres to the Security rules and procedures.

Respects and observes the Staff Rules & Regulations of PRC.

|
The employee may be asked to perform duties and tasks assigned by the management as well as to provide support to other departments if so required.

Ensure the delivery of full package of Primary Health Care service in BHU.

Establish and maintain regular communication with community (e.g. CBO)
Ensure a comprehensive service package for female clients. (e.g. ANC, FP etc).

Provide service delivery to clients as needed.

Perform duties and responsibilities as delegated by Medical Officer

|
Plan and conduct regularly outreach activities/ family visits.

Ensure adherence to PHC standards as given by Department of Health to ensure good quality service.

Collect relevant data and display.

Participate in training and meetings as requested by management.

Education
|
|
02-04 years’ degree in LHV/Nursing courses from a recognized institution .
|
|
Experience
|
|
03 years’ experience in primary/secondary/tertiary care hospital.
Preferable experience in gynae/obs and pediatrics.
|
|
Skills/Knowledge
|
- Fluency in spoken and written in Urdu & English. Pashto speaking will be preferred
- Certification in Project Management would be added value
- Excellent skills of imparting training courses for the staff and school communities
- Work towards the achievement of PRCS Vision and long-term objectives
- Flexibility to travel to conduct field visits for monitoring and coordination purposes
- Good command on Microsoft Office (word, excel & power point)
