Job Advertisement for Peshawar Field Office – Project Officer Rehabilitation

Civil Society Human & Institutional Development Programme (CHIP) is a value led organization that has made its mark in the development sector all over the Pakistan. We are looking for enthusiastic/energetic candidates for the following position.

Qualification

Masters in any discipline

 

Experience

Minimum of total five years’ experience in:

  • Early Child Development, Child Protection & IDRR etc
  • Mobilisation of community groups for empowerment of all children
  • Community based trainings and supervision of community workers
  • Linkages development with line department, CBOs/DPOs/Service Providers

 

Skill Set

  • Experience in the field of disability inclusion and working with parents and children, experienced in child developmental stages, use of appropriate tools and referral system/management  
  • Experience in working with children with disabilities and actively involving care givers in the interventions

Computer skills and good verbal and written communication preferred.  Priority would be given to persons having command on English, Pashtu and Urdu languages.  Work Experience in an NGO/INGO would be preferred.  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Able to work independently and work as a team and commitment to comply with the mission and values of CHIP;
  • Being from the project area/having lived and worked in the project area is an added advantage;
  • Commitment to follow Human Rights and ensure protection principles in all projects activities;
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of people

Type of Contract

Till December 31, 2019 with possibility of extension

Job Location

Peshawar, with frequent travel to Nowshera
