Overview

The Procurement and Logistics Officer (PLO) will be responsible for supporting the procurement of goods and services in the regional office in support of both in-kind grant activities and office operations. The PLO will report to the Procurement and Logistics Manager.

 

Scope of Work

  • Procure goods and services as outlined in grant agreements under directions of the Procurement Manager in Islamabad and the Procurement and Logistics Manager in the regional office.
  • Provide support for day-to-day program office operations and logistics needs.
  • Maintain local procurement lists and schedules.
  • Solicit bids and quotes from vendors for items in adherence with program policies.
  • Inspect goods or verify services, confirm delivery and receipt of goods, and monitor the use and disposition of goods.
  • Confirm that all invoices have been received and submitted for payment.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications 

  • University degree in relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with 5 years of overall work experience required.
  • Relevant experience working on USAID contract in a related role highly preferred.
  • Experience with grants or small grants under contract programs required.
  • Working experience in Punjab region will be highly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office suite) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • English language fluency required.
  • Ability to communicate in local languages will be preferred.
