Relevant Experience & Qualification: 

  • Minimum Masters degree in social sciences
  • Minimum 5-8 years relevant experience at non-profit organization with at least two years of working in multi donor environment
  • Substantial experience in project management, report writing and communication
  • Experience working with institutional donor funded programmes
  • Ability to independently handle multi-projects. 
  • Knowledge of participatory approaches to development design,Project management systems (monitoring, evaluation, logical frame work
  • Excellent advocacy,lobbing and negoitationn skills particularly for working in the troubled areas of Karachi
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive project quality improvements
  • Ability to analyze, recommend, create and implement improvements to processes, procedures and systems 

Job Description:

  • Planning, assistance in implementation and reporting of the projects/milestones and programmatic monitoring for various projects
  • Ensure high quality and timely production of all deliverables
  • Develop and facilitate evaluation process of the projects
  • Serve as the primary interface and ensure appropriate liaison with the project donors
  • Prepare, review and submit all reports to the donor in accordance with the agreement
  • Monitoring budgets and cash flows of the project
  • Manage reporting calendar to ensure timely and high quality projects reports
  • Liaison with the donors for smooth implementation of the project activities
  • Development of active information services through effective networking with other capacity building institutions, donors, service providers and consultants
  • Developing linkages and liaison with local government, institutions, NGOs, CBOs and other stake holders working in and out of the project locations for assistance in implementation of projects
  • Liaison with regional heads, extending technical support, minimizing bottle necks, and play vital role in troubleshooting.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the donor, project staff and regional teams.
  • Regular variance analysis of all the project functions and sharing of analysis with the regional head and the donors.
  • Technical guidance of the team regarding implementation of project tasks and deliverables.
  • Manage social media campaigns
Other: 
  • Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPOEs values, establish and strengthen linkages with other support organizations to exchange relevant information.
  • Participate in the programme planning and review meeting at least once a year to review the past achievements future planning.
  • Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by SPO.
  • Any other duties as required
