World Learning is seeking an individual consultant or a firm for conducting a workshop/training in order to provide job seeking guidance for its project staff. 


The objective of this training is to provide Job Seeker Guide Training to World Learning AGES project staff. At the end of the session, participants should be equipped with ready to use tools and templates for job search and profile building.

Scope of Work

The training should cover at least the following modules:

  • Creating a career plan: how to successfully navigate workplace of 21st century, understand key steps of career planning, from identifying your dream job to branding and networking using social media.
  • Writing a resume and cover letters: how to structure, what you should include on your resume, what to exclude, and how to craft your resume and cover letter to showcase your talents and best qualities. Each employee should get his/her resume and cover letter prepared relevant to his/her area of expertise at the end of the training as part of deliverables.  
  • Job search strategies: how to develop your profile and brand, seek advertised and unadvertised positions, network successfully to broaden your circle, and work with recruiting professionals.
  • Mastering interviews: how to master most common interview questions, how to craft authentic answers that showcase your experience and your enthusiasm for an organization, how to tailor your answer to entry-level, midcareer and senior roles.
  • Giving your elevator pitch: how to tell others what you do and make a memorable impression in a short period of time with a personal "elevator pitch."
  • Negotiating your job offer: how to benchmark their job offers and make sure they are getting what they want.


Half to full day session

Qualifications required:

  • The organization/ individual should have proven track record of career counseling, coaching, developing and delivering training courses to job seekers for at least last 7 years.
  • Experience with INGO/Development and Corporate sector in Pakistan will be a big plus.
  • Knowledge of recruitment practices in the industry.
  • Knowledge of social media use, and branding personal profile.
