Senior Associate, Administration

The Role

Teach For Pakistan seeks to urgently fill the Senior Administration Associate position at its Islamabad office. Primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Understand, anticipate and respond to the logistics and admin needs arising from program units
  • Support the development and monitoring of organizational budgets by ensuring that logistical, administrative needs are addressed
  • Develop strategies and work-plans for the Administration and Logistics department in alignment with the organization’s vision for growth
  • Managing procurement processes, including getting and evaluating quotations, and managing vendor relations and communication
  • Managing inventory of office materials and assets, including groceries, stationery and printed materials
  • Managing logistics for major events and program activities, including planning, budgeting, sourcing and liaising with vendors and reporting
  • Developing and managing systems for storing and organizing files and records
  • Ensuring a positive work environment through proper office maintenance and
  • Making safe and cost-effective travel arrangements and maintaining relationships with travel related vendors including agents, hotels, rent-a-car services etc
  • Managing petty cash, including cash withdrawals, issuance and record-keeping
  • Making utility bill and withholding tax payments
  • Keeping a record of employee leaves and using that to support payroll development

The Ideal Candidate will be a responsible, proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure and can successfully manage multiple projects at the same time.

S/he will have the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Bachelors degree required in the areas of finance, economics, business or related field
  • 2-4 years of work experience in a similar role at a well-reputed organization
  • Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
  • Eagerness to be involved cross-functionally
  • Ability to travel across the city with ease
